CoastPride is an organization created by our local community in San Mateo County to improve the support, visibility and awareness of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) individuals and families.
CoastPride embraces allies to create an affirming and welcoming community that nurtures individuals of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression to live to their full potential.
We believe that together we will continue to make the Coastside, from Pacifica to Pescadero, a kind and safe place for the LGBTQ+ community at large.
A welcoming and safe Coastside where all LGBTQ and gender-expansive individuals, their families, and allies thrive.
Creating a Coastside that supports and celebrates people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
“Phenomenal work! Thank you for your leadership!”

I am a creative at heart. I find joy in helping others realize their unique sense of self. I do this through my work as an interior home designer and as a pediatric occupational therapist. I love being a positive influence in my community and sharing my love. What lights me up? Creativity, discovery, connection, volunteering, design, fashion, running, riding my cruiser bike and reading. I’m a married mother of three teens, a dog and a cat. Proud coastsider since 2001.

I love living in Half Moon Bay. My husband and I moved here in 2012 and I feel it is the most beautiful place we have ever lived. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business from San Jose State University and my professional experience includes over 20 years in corporate finance. I currently work in my own practice as a Nutrition Coach and Consultant. It gives me great satisfaction and joy to have the privilege to serve in our community and on the board of CoastPride. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of something so powerful and grounded in human kindness!

I have lived in HMB for the last 5 years with my husband Mike. Having lived in the City for many years, we are thrilled to be on the Coast. We owned and ran Mikeytom Market in Noe Valley and now I work at the Stanford Alumni Association. I enjoy fostering community and working to help educate, appreciate and celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion. I have found the Coastside to be a very welcoming and wonderful place to live.
After living in San Francisco for over 15 years and coming down to the coast on weekends to get away from the city I decided one day to just live by the ocean. It was the best decision, and I am grateful for the beach, ocean, and all the people I have met here. I spent the last 15 years of my career working in tech, having spent time most recently at Uber as a Program Manager and the Co-Lead of the Global Transgender Task Force (an employee resource group within the Pride at Uber cohort).
